Alappuzha: In aroad accident early morning at Purakkadu in Alapuzha, 2 persons were killed when a car and a lorry collided on the National Highway.
Three others who were in car are said to be in a critical condition. They are admitted at the Alappuzha Medical College Hospital.
The deceased identified as Deepu and Rajan hail from Kayamkulam.The accident happened around 2 AM when the car was returning from Nedumbassery Airport after picking up Deepu's brother-in-law Vishnu and was heading towards Kayamkulam. Car hit a lorry.
The bodies have been kept at the Alapuzha Medical College Hospital mortuary.
