Dubai will introduce an annual award to recognise people, organisations and projects that turn ambitious ideas into measurable results in line with the emirate’s “Dubai-it” philosophy.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, directed the launch of the Dubai-it Award.

The award will celebrate individuals, government entities, companies and projects that have delivered exceptional achievements with speed, precision and clear public impact.

The initiative builds on the “Dubai-it” approach introduced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to preserve Dubai’s work culture for future generations and embed it across public and private institutions.

The philosophy is based on turning vision into action, ideas into completed projects and ambition into results that can be seen and measured.

The award will cover government work, real estate, economy, education, technology and community-focused projects.

Project categories include government initiatives that deliver strong results in record time, technology-driven projects that turn ideas into impact, education projects that promote accountability and achievement, and real estate developments that create clear urban, economic or social value.

Institutional categories will recognise government entities known for speed and results, as well as companies that have delivered major transformation in performance, operations or market impact.

Individual honours will include a government project manager who turns vision into measurable results through strong planning and delivery, and an entrepreneur who builds a successful venture from a promising idea within a short timeframe.

Mohammad Al Gergawi, Chairman of The Executive Office of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, said the award reflects Sheikh Mohammed’s belief that real achievements are judged by action and outcomes and that ideas gain value only when they are turned into projects that improve lives and help shape the future.

He said Sheikh Hamdan’s launch of the award anchors Dubai’s work philosophy, which is built on transforming ambitions into accomplishments with excellence and speed.

Al Gergawi said Dubai has delivered hundreds of success stories across sectors, turning concepts into major projects and visions into achievements recognised globally.

He added that the award will highlight the people, institutions and projects that best represent Dubai’s approach to work, delivery and results.

The award will focus on initiatives that have exceeded expectations, improved work methods, created new opportunities and demonstrated Dubai’s ability to execute major plans quickly and effectively.

Al Gergawi said the “Dubai-it” philosophy is not a slogan but a complete approach based on execution, converting plans into reality and turning results into success stories.

Officials said the award will set a benchmark for Dubai’s next phase of development by reinforcing the emirate’s culture of action, innovation and exceptional delivery.
