'Inspire Oman' launched in Muscat to showcase investment success stories
text_fieldsMuscat: The “Inspire Oman” initiative, which highlights success stories in Oman’s economic and social development as well as its entrepreneurship sector, was launched in Muscat.
The project was announced at a press conference held on Tuesday evening at the headquarters of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The initiative, developed by MeFriend with the support of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, seeks to showcase Oman’s business opportunities and successful models at regional and global levels. Oman was described as the second most trusted investment destination globally.
Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OCCI, said the initiative is expected to make a significant contribution to attracting more investment to Oman and supporting the goals of Oman Vision 2040.
He added that presenting such success stories would help strengthen Oman’s economic standing and boost investor confidence in the country’s business environment.
Abdul Latheef Moideen Kunhi, OCCI board member and Chairman of the Foreign Investment Committee, said the initiative aims to present a comprehensive picture of Oman’s investment climate to the world.
Mohammed Saleem Ambalan, Director of MeFriend, said the project also seeks to pass on the lessons, expertise and inspiring experiences behind Oman’s achievements in various economic sectors to future generations.
The first phase of Inspire Oman will include the publication of a commemorative edition featuring Oman’s success stories, a digital campaign, and the Inspiring Oman Investors Summit. The summit will bring together policymakers, business experts and investors from Oman, India and other countries.
OCCI board member Sheikh Saud bin Ahmed Al Nahari and MeFriend Business Solutions Global Head Mohammed Rafeeq also attended the press conference.
During the event, Inspire Oman Premium Visionary Delegate invitations were presented to Noushad Rahman, founder and managing director of PGS Group, and Ibrahim Abdulrahim, founder and chairman of Altai Group of Companies.
