AIDMK leader Jayalalithaa was one of India's most colourful and controversial politicians, adored by some and condemned by others.
She had been at the peak of fame and notoriety, adulation and admonition, trials and triumphs. The journey of her life, her political career was unarguably more dramatic than a movie script.
