UAE, Bahrain leaders hold talks in Abu Dhabi

President Sheikh Mohamed met Bahrain’s King Hamad on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed co-operation and ongoing joint work between the UAE and Bahrain, according to state news agency Wam.

They also spoke about strengthening ties and supporting economic growth in both countries.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad, adviser to the President, attended the meeting.

The talks followed an earlier meeting at Qasr Al Watan between Sheikh Mansour and Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev.
