Saudi Arabia, North Macedonia sign agreement on Islamic affairs

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia and North Macedonia have signed an agreement to enhance cooperation on Islamic affairs, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Monday.

The agreement was signed by Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Albania, Faisal bin Ghazi Hefzi and representatives of the Presidency of the Islamic Union of North Macedonia. Hefzi, who also serves as a non-resident ambassador to North Macedonia, represented the Kingdom’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.

The signing ceremony took place on Sunday in Skopje, the Macedonian capital, with various government representatives in attendance. In a press statement following the event, Hefzi emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting efforts that ensure peace and prosperity for Muslims worldwide.
