Maruti flies through the roof hitting 2 crore cars

The company has crossed the tremendous milestone in the 34 years since the first Maruti 800 rolled out in 1983, thus becoming the first in India to achieve this rare feat. Currently, Maruti Suzuki monopolises 56.21 percentage of domestic market.
Kenichi Ayukawa, MD & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India, attributed the companies burgeoning growth to people’s trust in the brand. Of the 20 million units, 1.43 crore vehicles are manufactured in Gurugram, while 56.2 Lakh vehicles were from its Manesar facility.
Maruti Suzuki today churns out a total of 16 models in India for the domestic market, while exporting to hundred nations. Maruti is favourite brand to people in Japan, Asia, and Latin America.
