Simba with 19-inch-long ear is a celebrated goat in Pakistan

Karachi: Simba, a newborn baby goat from Karachi, Pakistan, might set foot on the Guinness World record for her long ears, measuring almost 46 cm (19 inches).
The goat belongs to the breed Nubian, which has long ears to keep the body cool in high temperatures, which can rise to 47 degrees Celsius during summer. However, Simba's ears are unusually lengthy, surpassing all the Nubian standards.
These goats are producers of high-quality butterfat milk that can be used for making ice cream, yogurt, cheese, and butter.
Muhammad Hassan, the owner of the goat, reported to the Express that Simba has already become a local celebrity in Pakistan. The goat's ears can be dragged on the floor, Hassan said. However, he was initially surprised to see such long ears.
Gene mutation or genetic disorder can be the reasons for the baby goat's long years, reports from the Telegraph said.
