US travel advisory warns of terrorist attacks in Pakistan

The heads-up also include chances of conflict on the Line of Control (LOC).
A level-3 travel advisory is a directive to the US citizens to reconsider their travel plans to a country in question, according to Samaa TV.
Citing risks of terrorism and kidnapping, the travel advisory on April 4 banned American nationals from going to Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) provinces, IANS reported.
Alongside, the communique asks travellers not to visit near the LoC, to avoid the risk of terrorism and potential armed conflict.
According to travel advisory, the places likely to face terrorist attacks include Pakistan's transportation hubs, markets, shopping malls, military installations, airports, universities, tourist locations, schools, hospitals, places of worship, and government facilities.
However, threats of terrorist attacks, nevertheless rare, exists in Islamabad as well, according to the advisory.
The communique made it clear that given the security environment, the US government has limited ability to provide emergency services to US nationals.
The statement added that the US Consulate General in Peshawar was not able to provide any consular services to American citizens.
