Hit movie 'Summer in Bethlehem' to get a sequel

Being one of the classics of Malayalam film industry, Summer in Bethlehem is consistently ranked among movies with the most repeat value. Producer Siyad Koker has surprised the fan base by announcing a sequel for the Suresh Gopi-Jayaram-Manju Warrier film. He also assured that Manju Warrier will be a part of the sequel.
Mr Koker was attending the audio launch event of Manju Warrier's upcoming film 'Meri Awas Suno' when he revealed that he is in talks with filmmaker Sibi Malayil for a sequel of the 1998 film.
Summer in Bethlehem had an ensemble cast of Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, Manju Warrier, Kalabhavan Mani, Janardhanan, Sukumari, Mayoori, Sangeetha, Manjula, and Augustine. The film was a breath of fresh air for the audience as it focused on friendships and lighthearted family vacations.
