That’s bravery! 5-year-old boy fights off attacking stray dogs in viral video

The immense courage shown by a five-year-old little boy in the face of danger is the latest topic being hailed on social media.

The video that is being talked about is of a boy from Telangana, who singlehandedly thwarted an attack by a pack of stray dogs. The incident, took place at Anjaneyanagar, Kukatpally near Hyderabad, was captured on on a security camera placed outside a nearby house.

The little boy did not run away when a pack of growling dogs advanced upon him but took on the menacing animals fearlessly.

The CCTV footage shows the boy walking a deserted lane with a little girl. A pack of dogs that are seen sleeping on the road wake up as the children approach them. As the dogs try to attack them, the girl gets scared and runs away while the boy stands his ground and tries to defend himself. He raises his hands in to make a threatening gesture and manages to force the dogs’ retreat.

But as soon as his back is turned another dog tries to attack from a different direction and forces him to stop. He is soon surrounded by dogs. He then raises his hands threateningly and tries to turn on his feet. The dogs retreat seeing that they cannot intimidate the small boy.

The footage, aired by various local news channels, has been hailed on social media as a perfect example of bravery.
