GCC secretary general meets British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia in Riyadh

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Albudaiwi, held discussions with UK Ambassador to the Kingdom, Neil Crompton, at the GCC Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh on Tuesday.

The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of negotiations related to the free trade agreement between the GCC and the UK. Both parties also assessed the latest regional and international developments, according to a statement issued by the General Secretariat.

During the discussions, Albudaiwi highlighted the significance of reinforcing ties between the GCC and the UK through their strategic partnership. He underscored the importance of mutual collaboration in advancing shared interests and meeting the aspirations of both sides.
