Malappuram: The Sangh Parivar centres are misusing a Kerala competitive exam coaching centre's advertisement showing NEET winners to spread communal propaganda throughout North India and cover up irregularities in the NEET test results.

Kottakkal Universal Institute's advertisement in Mathrubhumi newspaper is being used for such false propaganda with the hashtag 'Exam Jihad'.

The newspaper advertisement contains pictures of students including Muslim girls who have passed from the institute in Malappuram district. Sudarshan News editor Suresh Chavhanke, an RSS worker and staunch anti-Muslim views, shared the ad with the caption, “The above photos are NEET entrance question paper leak beneficiarys, just look n guess who n which religion ther are”.

Chavhanke is trying to make it appear that Muslims are behind the NEET question paper leak as most of the students in the advertisement are Muslims. The same ad has also been shared by many other Sangh Parivar workers.

The said post on the X account Bharatiya Citizen (@LawAcademics) has already been viewed by more than 11 lakh people. It has been retweeted 6,900 times. "Beneficiaries of the NEET entrance question paper leak. Look at the photos to find out which religion they are, guess who they are.. All are Muslims," he captioned. Journalist Anupam Mishra (@scribe9104) also shared this with a similar caption. The tweet was seen by over 2.67 lakh people and retweeted 4,900 times.

Kottakkal Universal Institute Academic Director Abdul Hameed said that the newspaper advertisement contains pictures of toppers who have secured NEET this year from the coaching centre. He told Madhyamam that students from all communities have been included in the list of toppers and a complaint has been lodged with the police and cyber cell against those who spread false information.
