CM Pinarayi in Dubai on maiden foreign trip

Dubai: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan arrived in Dubai Wednesday morning for a three-day official visit. This is the CM’s first overseas trip after assuming office in May this year.

Vijayan will visit a labour camp at Al Quoz here later the day. On Thursday and Friday, the Chief Minister’s schedule is packed with several programmes including the inauguration of the new building of Sharjah Indian High School and a public reception in Dubai to be hosted by various Malayali organisations.

Vijayan, who holds the portfolio of NORKA, the Non Resident Keralites Affairs Department, is expected to announce the department’s schemes and programmes for expatriates during the visit.
