Lucifer sequel: launch video of Mohanlal and Prithviraj's L2E-Empuraan sparks excitement

Fans of the hit film "Lucifer" have reason to celebrate as the launch video for the sequel, "L2E-Empuraan," has been unveiled.

Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, "Lucifer" marked his directorial debut and garnered immense popularity. Prithviraj had promised an exciting update to fans, and the launch video certainly lived up to expectations.

The launch video includes scenes from "Lucifer" and features a snippet of actor Indrajith Sukumaran declaring, 'He is coming back!' Moreover, it is revealed in the video that filming for "L2E-Empuraan" will commence on October 5.

A noteworthy development is that "L2E-Empuraan" will mark the entry of Lyca Productions into Malayalam cinema, and the production company expressed its excitement on Instagram, stating, 'God's Own Country Welcomes Lyca Productions. We are elated to make our debut in Malayalam cinema with #L2E - Empuraan, teaming up with Aashirvad Cinemas for the highly-anticipated 2nd installment of blockbuster #Lucifer.'

The entire cast of "L2E-Empuraan," including Mohanlal, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, shared the launch video on their respective social media platforms. Their posts conveyed the excitement surrounding the sequel and the collaboration between Aashirvad Cinemas and Lyca Productions.

Released in 2019, the original film "Lucifer" achieved monumental success at the box office, becoming one of the highest-grossing films in the history of Malayalam cinema. The movie featured an ensemble cast that included Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Indrajith Sukumaran, Saniya Iyappan, Sai Kumar, John Vijay, Sachin Khedekar, Baiju Santhosh, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Fazil, Suresh Chandra Menon, and Nyla Usha.
