UK model Arabella Chi robbed after being ‘dragged from car’ in Spain
text_fieldsLondon: An organised crime group in Spain attacked the well-known model Arabella Chi as she was traveling from Ibiza to Barcelona, Metro reported on Monday.
Robbers dragged the 32-year-old out of the car after having slashed her car tyres to trammel her.
Arabella Chi was traveling with her father Paul and attackers came around after Paul had gone to get help to fix tyres.
'Shortly after driving off the ferry, she had car issues with the two back wheels. Her dad realised both tyres had been slashed,' The Sun quoted sources close to the model.
The Sun further reported that Arabella decided to stay back in the car as her dad went in search of help as the car was packed full of suitcases.
The police later told Arabella Chi that she was targeted by the organised crime group, according to a report.
The gang noticed that Arabella Chi was alone inside it and she was ‘absolutely terrified’.
The robbers got away with her handbag, purse and passports, and she was able to save her phone.
The gang used high-tech device to unlock the model's car, according to the report.
When the attackers left, Arabella Chi called her father, who rushed to the spot with Spanish police officers.
Only a couple of weeks before Liverpool footballer Luis Diaz’s parents were kidnapped on the Colombian-Venezuelan border.
