Malappuram native wins bronze in national Taekwondo Championship

Mankada: Aisha Zamreen, a resident of Mankada in Malappuram won a bronze medal in the sub-junior category of the National Taekwondo Championships held at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh from 16th to 18th August. Aisha Zamreen, daughter of Dr. M. Sameerbabu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education Studies at Jamia Millia University.

Aisha, who represented the state of Delhi in the championship where contestants from 14 states participated, has earned a black belt in Taekwondo. She is a 4th standard student at Good Samaritan School, Jasola, Delhi. T Faseela is her mother.

Aisha has been practising Taekwondo since she was 6 years old and has earned a black belt within two years and is studying under Master Uzair Yunus of The Kicks Academy.
