Joining Anna Hazare was wrong: Prashant Bhushan
text_fieldsNew Delhi: Lawyer and activist Prashant Bhushan on Thursday said joining Anna Hazare ’s anti-corruption campaign was wrong.
He would never have been part of the lokpal movement, he had known BJP and Narendra Modi were going to benefit from it.
Prashant Bushan, his father Shanti Bhushan alongside Aravind Kejeriwal and Jogendra Yadav had crucial role in the anti-corruption campaign launched by RSS controlled Vivekanda Foundation, headed by Ajt Doval.
Imagine Congress still in power fulfilling its promise of income for everybody, India would have been better off, he said.
That would not have left migrant workers in misery as they are in today, he tweeted.
He was reacting to a tweet by Dileep Mandal blaming him for creating a venue for RSS crowd; which also said that Narendra Modi came in power because of the environs created by the people like him.
Prashant accepted the criticism saying that Congress’ corruption was better than BJP’s communalism.
