Kochi: The trailer and songs of "Monika: Oru AI Story," directed by E M Ashraf, which is set to usher in a new era in Indian cinema, were unveiled at the Gokulam Park Convention Centre in Kochi.
This film, recognized by the Government of India as the nation's first AI movie, features performances by American-born Aparna Mulberry, Gopinath Muthukad, and Malikappuram movie star Shripath.
The trailer was launched by producer Sabu Cherian in a grand event attended by luminaries from the film industry. The music for the film is composed by Yunaseo with lyrics by Prabhavarma.
The main song, crafted by Prabhavarma and performed by eleven-year-old Yerbesh Bechu, was released by music director Ronnie Raphel. Aparna Mulberry showcased her talent by singing and dancing in Malayalam for the promo song, which was released by Gopi Nath Mutukad. Additionally, the final look poster was revealed by Vishnu Shashi Shankar, director of the Malikappuram movie.
The announcement of the movie's theater release on May 31 was made by Abhilash Pillai, the story writer of the Malikappuram movie. During the event, Prabhavarma, a Saraswati Samman awardee who penned two songs for the film, was honored by producer Mansoor Palloor. The event was moderated by Sapta Sreejith and Albert Alex.
The film also stars Sreepath, Sini Abraham, Manikandan, Kannur Sreelatha, Mansoor Palloor, Albert Alex, Anil Baby, Ajay Kallai, Subha Kanhangad, Anmira Dev, Hatim, Ananda Jyoti, Prasannan Pillai, Preeti Keekan, Shijith Manawalan, P.K. Abdullah, Hari Kanhangad, and Vinju Vishwanath.
"Monika: Oru AI Story" was produced by Mansoor Palloor, with cinematography by Sajeesh Raj and editing by Hari G. Nair. Najeem Arshad and Yarbash Bachu lend their voices to the film's songs, with art direction by Haridas Bakalam. Shaiju Devdas serves as the Chief Associate Director, and VFX is handled by Vijesh CR Radhakrishnan Chelari. The production control is managed by Radhakrishnan Chelari, with PRO duties by Sunitha Sunil. The movie's advertising art is designed by Sajeesh M. Design, and Tantra Media is set to release the film in theaters across Kerala on May 31.
