Sharjah Civil Defence cuts fines and firefighting costs by 50%
text_fieldsSharjah Civil Defence has announced a set of financial concessions to support economic activity in the emirate.
The authority said it will offer a 50 per cent discount on all violations and fines, along with a 50 per cent reduction in firefighting costs.
The discounts apply to violations issued between 2019 and 2026 and will be available for three months from June 16, 2026.
Sharjah Civil Defence urged residents and businesses seeking further details to contact the authority through official channels or call 06 516 3333.
The announcement follows a similar package introduced by Sharjah Police earlier this week to support businesses and strengthen the emirate’s economic environment, in line with a decision by the Sharjah Executive Council.
Sharjah Police said its incentives include a 50 per cent reduction in security permit renewal fees for commercial activities, a 50 per cent cut in violations and fines, and a 50 per cent reduction in security system subscription fees.
Businesses will also receive a 20 per cent discount on mandatory training program fees.
