text_fieldsThe autobiography of UAE-based businessman and early expatriate M. V. Kunju Muhammad Haji is released in Dubai.
The book launch took place on Saturday at Credence High School, Al Quoz. Aster DM Healthcare founder-chairman Dr. Azad Moopen led the release ceremony. He was joined by Galfar Mohammed Ali, Member of Parliament P. V. Abdul Wahab, Madhyamam editor V. M. Ibrahim, C. P. Kunju Muhammad, Lulu Group International executive director M. A. Ashraf Ali, N. A. Mohammed and retired Justice P. K. Rahim.
Jaleel Holdings managing director Sameer K. Mohammed attended the function.
The autobiography, titled Thadagam – Vijanaya Vazhiyile Ormakal (Thadagam – Memories Along the Path of Success), has been published by Madhyamam Books.
As part of the event, the Thadagam Foundation distributed the third Jaleel Cash and Carry educational scholarships. Thirty students who excelled in higher secondary examinations received the scholarships. The beneficiaries were children or siblings of employees working in UAE groceries, restaurants and cafeterias.
The organizers also announced the ‘Best Teacher – Inspiring the Future’ award. The initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Model Service Society (MSS), aims to honor teachers contributing to student welfare. The award carries a cash prize of 25,000 dirhams.
Writer M. N. Karassery, MLA Najeeb Kanthapuram, Congress leader V. T. Balram, and Regency Group chairman Shamsudheen Bin Muhyiddin were among the guests. Jaleel Holdings director Dr. Zakir K. Mohammed and executive director Abdul Gafoor K. Mohammed were also present.
