Riyadh: Saudi Arabian administration informed on Monday about the Kingdom lifting all the measures it had imposed to restrict the spread of Covid-19. This includes wearing of face masks in closed spaces, vaccine mandates etc., Arab News reported citing Saudi Press Agency.

According to the Saudi Interior Ministry's statement, people no more need to mask their faces indoors but inside the Grand Mosque of Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Medina. The Face Mask is needed in health facilities, public events, aeroplanes and public transportation etc.

Further proof of being vaccinated on the Tawakkalna app is also no more needed to enter public or congested places. Earlier it was required to enter establishments, events, activities, aeroplanes and public transportation, Saudi state media, Saudi Press Agency, reported.

In the case of citizens who wish to leave the Kingdom, they only need to take the booster dose after eight months of the second dose instead of the earlier three months. But this regulation varies with individuals on the basis of their age groups as well as those who are exempt from being vaccinated by the Ministry of Health.

Lastly, the administration requested people to take the third shot to retain immunity.
