Saudi Arabia glows in 95th National Day celebrations

The day commemorates the historic moment in 1932 when King Abdulaziz Al Saud unified the Kingdom, laying the foundation for the modern Saudi state. Since then, National Day has grown into one of the most anticipated occasions in the Saudi calendar, blending patriotic spirit with cultural traditions and modern achievements.
In Riyadh, the skyline glowed in green and white as iconic landmarks lit up in the colors of the Saudi flag. Streets and public squares across the nation were adorned with lights, flags, and decorations, turning cities into vibrant expressions of national pride.
Jeddah’s skies became a stage for breathtaking air shows, as Saudi fighter jets performed dazzling maneuvers that drew crowds of spectators. In the evening, fireworks displays across major cities lit up the night, drawing families into public spaces to celebrate together.
Adding to the global dimension of the occasion, the Kingdom’s pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka captivated visitors with immersive displays of Saudi culture, heritage and innovation, offering the world a glimpse into the country’s evolving story.
The King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture (Ithra) joined the nationwide celebrations by hosting more than 40 cultural, artistic, and heritage events, while performers across the Kingdom showcased traditional music and dances that highlighted Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural legacy.
In the Jazan region, light shows illuminated the night, while in Jeddah, streets adorned with Saudi flags echoed with pride and joy as residents joined in the celebrations.
From parades and air shows to music, fireworks and cultural showcases, Saudi Arabia’s 95th National Day once again brought people together in a shared spirit of unity, patriotism and celebration.
