Sayyid Mohammed bin Salim Al Said, a member of the Omani Royal Family and senior diplomat, will attend the Inspire Oman Summit as the chief guest at its inaugural session on October 14. The opening ceremony will begin at 10 am at The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat.

Sayyid Mohammed, a prominent member of the Al Said dynasty, previously served as Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has represented the Sultanate in high-level bilateral discussions with international delegations and has been associated with several socio-economic forums and cultural initiatives as a patron.

Prashant Pise, India's Ambassador to Oman, will also attend the inaugural ceremony, along with several other senior dignitaries.

The summit, organised in strategic partnership with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), will bring together prominent business leaders, industrialists and investors for discussions on entrepreneurship, economic cooperation and sustainable business practices.

One of the main attractions will be the 'Meet the Pioneers' session, featuring three prominent figures who have contributed to the development of Oman's infrastructure and commercial sectors.

Dr P. Mohamed Ali, founder of Galfar Engineering, Anil Khimji, director of Khimji Ramdas Group, and Kiran Asher, founder of Al Ansari Group, will share their entrepreneurial journeys, experiences in overcoming business challenges and insights into building successful enterprises. The session is expected to offer valuable lessons for the next generation of global investors.

The summit will also feature a panel discussion on Oman's green transition and circular economy, with a particular focus on sustainable business opportunities in waste management.

Expatriate industrial pioneers Noushad Rahman, Ibrahim Abdulrahim and E.M. Badarudeen will participate in the discussion, sharing their experiences in developing profitable businesses through sustainable waste management practices in the Sultanate.

Another key session will focus on the India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The analytical discussion will examine the agreement, followed by an interactive question-and-answer session with participants.

Registration desks at The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat will open at 9 am, an hour before the inaugural ceremony.

Participants seeking further information, registration details and event guidelines can visit the summit's official website at www.inspireoman.com
