Thiruvananthapuram: CPI(M) veteran V.S Achuthanandan is likely to be appointed as an advisor to the LDF government led by Pinarayi Vijayan.
CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechuri has reportedly given a letter to Achuthanandan seeking his consent on the matter.
According to reports, it has also been decided to allot VS the LDF chairman post.
