Edappal: A Dalit student, who was allegedly ragged by her seniors in a nursing college at Gulbarga in Karnataka, has been hospitalised in a critical condition.

Ashwathi (19), who was allegedly ragged by senior Malayali students, is now undergoing treatment at the Kozhikode Medical College.

According to reports, some senior students had been harassing her since she joined the college. She was forced to drink toilet cleaner.

The student was hospitalised for five days in Bangalore, but her condition did not improve. The college authorities then sent her home with another student. She was taken to the Medical College after being admitted to hospitals in Edappal and Thrissur.
