Thalassery: Karayi Chandrasekaran, accused in the Fazal murder case, has resigned as the chairman of Thalassery municipality.
Chandrasekaran decided to resign as the High Court refused to relax the bail conditions for him.
Karayi Rajan, co-accused in the case, had resigned as Kannur district panchayat president over the case on Saturday.
