Saudi Hajj priority registration open until end of Shawwal
text_fieldsSaudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has confirmed that priority registration for Hajj this year will continue until the end of Shawwal for applicants who have not previously performed the pilgrimage.
After that period, registration will be opened to other eligible applicants, depending on remaining capacity, including those registering with a mahram.
The ministry set the minimum age at 15 and said all applicants must meet approved health requirements. Expatriates are required to hold a valid iqama, with preference given to residents whose permits were issued more than one year ago.
The second stage of registration for domestic pilgrims begins on Wednesday. This phase covers seats allocated to citizens and expatriates through licensed Hajj service providers. Available packages will be listed on the “Nusk” app and the ministry’s official website, allowing applicants to review options and reserve places.
Packages are expected to include upgraded camps, hospitality camps, the Six Towers and the Kidana Towers. The ministry said all contracting must be completed through approved companies listed on the “Nusk” platform.
Applicants must register individually by creating an account, submitting required details, confirming eligibility and selecting a package. Payment must be made through the SADAD system to finalise the Hajj permit.
