Youth beaten to death in Thrissur

Thrissur: A youth was allegedly beaten to death by a mob at Chavakkad in Thrissur on Thursday night.

Police said the victim has been identified as Zawahir (28), hailing from Anjangadi in the district.

The dead body has been kept in the mortuary of the Raja Hospital at Muthuvattoor.

The police have filed a case of murder.
