Kannur: A CPI(M) functionary has been arrested in connection with the murder of RSS district leader Manoj at Kathiroor in Kannur.
The arrested has been identified as Prakasan, president of Padyam Ayurveda Society.
He will be produced before the court tomorrow, sources said.
K. Vikraman, prime suspect in the case of murder of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) functionary E. Manoj, had surrendered before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court here on Thursday.
K.T Manoj (43), a local RSS functionary, was hacked to death and another one suffered serious injuries in an attack by a group of assailants on September 1.
