T N Prathapan alleges conspiracy in new Bevco affidavit

Thrissur: Congress leader T N Prathapan, MLA, on Wednesday alleged that there were conspiracies in the new affidavit filed by the Kerala State Beverages Corporation (Bevco) before the High Court in the bar licences case.

“There were conspiracies in the new affidavit. The Chief Minister should intervene into the matter,” the Congress leader said.

Prathapan Tuesday had filed an affidavit before the court saying that the Bevco tried to suppress the true sales figures from the court.

He said the details in an additional affidavit filed by Bevco following complaints of incorrect figures given by the corporation were also not correct.
