Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president V.M Sudheeran on Thursday said the Congress party would not use the flex boards for the publicity of its programmes.
The KPCC president was speaking at the Gandhi Smriti programme organised by the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee here.
The State government Wednesday had decided to ban plastic hoardings and flex boards in the state, amid growing clamour by the greens on environmental hazards caused by their rampant use.
The government had also directed the authorities concerned to remove all unauthorised flex board hoardings across the state with immediate effect.
