An affidavit in this regard was filed by Deputy Secretary of Transport department, Saramma Abraham, on a batch of petitions complaining non-payment of pension.

It was also pointed in the affidavit that KSRTC, being a separate entity, should find resources to meets its liabilities. It cannot always depend on the government for working capital requirements, including pension liabilities.
