Special Onam trains to Kerala from Chennai

Kochi: The Southern Railways has assigned special trains to the State from Chennai to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Onam festival season.
A press release from the Railways said that Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram superfast special train (No.06007) would leave Chennai Central at 6.15 pm on August 28 (Thursday) and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 11.00 am the next day.
The Thiruvananthapuram - Chennai Central superfast special train (No.06008) will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 8.20 pm on August 31 (Sunday) and reach Chennai Central at 12.35 pm the next day.
The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam and Kollam.
