Lucknow: On the occasion of Diwali, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath celebrated the festival with the 'Vantangiya' people (forest dwellers) in Tinkonia village No. 3 in Gorakhpur.

During the festivities, the CM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 52 development projects, collectively valued at Rs 153 crore, spanning various gram panchayats in Gorakhpur district.

Addressing the gathering, Yogi Adityanath shared the joy of Diwali with the Vantangiya community and acknowledged their struggle for rights, emphasising the positive outcomes of persistent efforts. He said, "The struggle for the Vantangiya community was fought in this spirit, and today its positive outcome is visible. Diwali and Ram Rajya are all about providing all the government facilities and civil rights to the underprivileged."

Expressing his happiness at witnessing improved living conditions in Vantangiya village, including solid houses, drinking water facilities, electricity, good schools, and Anganwadi centres, the Chief Minister highlighted the positive changes brought about in Uttar Pradesh.

Yogi Adityanath drew parallels with the grand Deepotsav in Ayodhya, stating, "Just as Ayodhya is getting decorated, similarly villages of Uttar Pradesh, Gorakhpur, and Vantangiya are also getting decorated." He emphasised the need for a passion for work and directed efforts toward social upliftment.

Reflecting on the progress made in the last few years, Yogi Adityanath credited sincere efforts for the positive changes in Uttar Pradesh and the country. He cited the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya as an example of claiming rights through both peace and revolution.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the upcoming moment of Ramlala's enthronement would showcase India's ability to assert its rights peacefully and revolutionarily. He said, "The movement for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya is an example of this."

Yogi Adityanath reiterated that the central and state governments are aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas.'

Following the stage program in Jungle Tikonia number three, the Chief Minister visited an exhibition organised by various departments, including Horticulture, Forest, Education, ODOP, Khadi Village Industries, and Agriculture.
