Mumbai: Mumbai Police on Saturday received a death threat targeting Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, days after a string of similar threats to actor Salman Khan, NDTV reported.
The Mumbai Police Traffic Control Room got a message on its WhatsApp from an unknown number warning Adityanath that he will be killed like Maharashtra politician Baba Siddique if he does not resign in 10 days.
Baba Siddique, former minister and NCP (Ajit Pawar) leader, was shot dead in Bandra a few weeks ago.
News agency ANI quoted Mumbai police as saying: ‘"Police probe is underway to find the sender of the message’.
It is reported that police are trying to track down the sender of the message.
