A police spokesperson said one of the bodies was recovered on Friday morning even as the search operation continued in the area. Police said incriminating materials, including arms and ammunition, have been seized from the site of the encounter

The gunfight took place on Thursday after a joint team of the police and the army cordoned off the area and launched a search operation on the basis of specific information about the presence of terrorists.
