London: Two goals from forward Philippe Coutinho and a Christian Benteke strike allowed Liverpool to come from behind to beat champions Chelsea 3-1 away at Stamford Bridge ground in an English Premier League (EPL) match.
It marked coach Jurgen Klopp’s first league win since taking over as manager of Liverpool and made it six defeats in the tournament for Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho this season.
A Ramires header gave Chelsea the lead after four minutes, but Coutinho fired Liverpool to level in style just before half-time.
Liverpool took the lead from another Coutinho effort, clipping past defender John Terry and goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
Benteke made sure of the points with a composed finish in the closing minutes.
