Sharvari Wagh's latest film, Munjya, continues to impress at the box office.

As of its second Saturday, the horror-comedy has crossed the ₹45-crore milestone.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned ₹6.5 crore on Day 9, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹45.3 crore.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya hit theaters on June 7 and features Sharvari Wagh as Bela and Abhay Verma as Bittu. The storyline follows Bittu, who accidentally releases an angry spirit named Munjya.

The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik's Maddock Films.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh provided a detailed breakdown of Munjya's box office performance, noting its "victorious run." He shared on X (formerly Twitter) that the film is poised to reach ₹50 crore by its second Sunday (Day 10).

Despite the release of Chandu Champion, Munjya remains the top choice in many areas, showing an 80% growth on its second Saturday. Adarsh highlighted the film's strong performance over the extended weekend, aided by a holiday on Monday, and speculated on its overall lifetime business. He noted that Maddock Films has had two successful releases in the first week of June with Zara Hatke Zara Bachke and now Munjya.

In an interview with ANI before the film's release, Sharvari Wagh discussed her role, describing her character as a modern girl with dreams and priorities that resonate with many contemporary women. She also mentioned that her character's complex dating life is relatable for many viewers.

Munjya is the third installment in Dinesh Vijan's popular horror-comedy universe, following Rajkummar Rao's Stree and Varun Dhawan's Bhediya.
