Ashiq Abu terms Sam Mathew “a foolish poet”

Kochi: Terming Sam Mathew a foolish poet, film maker Ashiq Abu has slammed Kairali TV and its Managing Director John Brittas for hosting a talk show with the poet, who had claimed the ownership of poem ‘Sakhav’ (Comrade).
“The victim who had been ripped apart in all senses of the term should now even have to love you, the foolish poet?,” Ashiq Abu says in his Facebook post, adding satirically that “Mr. Brittas, the people are expecting more shows from Kairali TV airing self expressions of the persons who are suffering from mental disorders.”
On Saturday, Kairali Managing Director John Brittas had hosted ‘JB Junction’, a talk show, with Sam Mathew AD and Pratheeksha Sivadas.
The new controversy began after Sam recited from one of his other poems that spoke about how a rape victim falls in love with her rapist.
