US-Iran tensions spike after Trump’s warning of force ‘never seen before’
text_fieldsWashington: President Donald Trump threatened Iran with "force that has never been seen before " if it intensifies attacks, hours after the IRGC launched a new wave targeting US assets.
"Iran just stated that they are going to hit very hard today, harder than they have ever hit before. They better not do that, however, because if they do, we will hit them with a force never been seen before! Thank you for your attention to this matter " Trump stated.
The IRGC promised the "most ferocious offensive in history" for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's killing, confirmed by state TV. Its Telegram post vowed: "The hand of revenge of the Iranian nation for a severe, decisive and regrettable punishment for the murderers of the Imam of the Ummah will not let go of them," with forces upholding his legacy via "lesson-giving punishment."
In "Operation True Promise 4" Wave 5, IRGC hit the MSP vessel at UAE's Jebel Ali with four drones, disabling it. Kuwait's US base in Abdullah Al-Mubarak took four ballistic missiles and 12 drones, destroying infrastructure and killing/wounding troops, it claimed. Qadr 380 missiles struck the MST refueling tanker in the Indian Ocean. "Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, following the fighters of the aerospace field, will keep the gates of hell open," IRGC added.
The escalation follows US-Israel strikes decapitating Iran's leadership after failed nuclear talks, sparking regional retaliation.
