New Delhi: Taliban commander Molavi Agha Gol said Prince Harry was scared to go to combat zone, alongside calling him a ‘big mouth loser’.

The response from the Taliban came after the Duke of Sussex claimed that he had killed 25 people in Afghanistan while serving in the military.

Molavi Agha Gol came down on the Prince saying the he is a loser, adding that the price could be angry about Taliban after it made history by kicking him and his army out.

“Our martyred Mujaheddin are in heaven, but his invading friends are burning in hell and I really hope I was in Helmand when he was there, to make him understand what real chess pieces are,” he reportedly said.

Prince Harry’s claim of dare-devil action in Afghanistan came out in the excerpts from his upcoming book ‘Spare’, which has already gained attention.

British newspaper The Telegraph reported Harry as saying in the book that the army had taught him not to view members of Taliban as people.

The prince further said that he was "neither proud nor ashamed” of his involvement in the military action as an Apache attack helicopter pilot.

The 38-year-old Duke of Sussex served as a forward air controller in the British Royal Army from 2007-2008, according to AL Jazeera.

Counting the exact number of enemy combatants he had killed, Harry said his number was 25 but it did not fill him with satisfaction nor did it embarrass him.

Expanding on his involvement in the combat he said the body count came from six missions during his second tour in the country.

Harry, inviting criticism, said in the book that the army had inculcated in him the idea of Taliban members as mere “chess pieces”.

The members of the British military criticised Harry for this revelation saying that the prince risked his own security becoming a target.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, a spokesperson for the Taliban’s foreign affairs ministry, called the western occupation of Afghanistan an “odious moment in human history”.

He further said that Prince Harry’s comments were a “microcosm of the trauma” that innocent Afghans experienced at the hands of occupying forces.
