Taiwan hats off India for celebrating it's national day
text_fieldsTaiwan's ministry of foreign affairs expressed its gratitude to India for celebrating Taiwan's national day on Saturday.
Through tweet by MOFA,foreign affairs minister Jaushieh Joseph Wu said that, "with the support of friendly countries, Taiwan will definitely be more resilient in meeting challenges". The day is also known as " double tenth day" as it commemorate the beginning of Wuchan uprising in china which halted ruling of Qing dynasty.
Even though, Republic of china claims Taiwan as their sovereign territory like Hong Kong and Macau, India kept bilateral relations with Taiwan too. The tweet grabs more attention as the clashes at India -china boarder are deteriorating to be worst.
Along that, India's external affairs ministry spoke person Anurag Srivastava had said during a media briefing that media persons in India are free to report on any thing- The Scroll reported on Thursday .
The statement of the spoke person was in response to the letter issued by Chinese embassy in India on October 7, insisting Indian medias to do not violate the one-china principle.
Relation between Taiwan and china is becoming contentious as America came to support Taiwan's claims. Due to the failure of Japan at the end of world war II, island of Taiwan was under the administration of the republic of china ( ROC) on 1945.
Following the conflicts between ROC and PRC (People's Republic of China) which became bad after Chinese Civil war (1945-1949), the relation between china and Taiwan became more devastating.
