Navas Meeran elected as President of Kerala Football Association

The association, dedicated to fostering football excellence and growth in the state, witnessed Navas Meeran being elected as president of the association unanimously.
The elections also saw other nominated individuals secure their respective positions.
Mr Navas Meeran, the Chairman of Meeran Group, emerged as the President of KFA, enjoying unanimous support from members. The absence of any opposing candidates in the contest solidified his position at the helm of the organization. Mr Meeran's passion for football and commitment to promoting the sport within the state made him the natural choice for this significant role.
The Vice-President role will be efficiently handled by Mr P Paulose, Mr Davies Mooken, Mr M Sivakumaran, Mr Mohamed Saleem M Mr P Haridas and Mr Pavithran V P. Their combined experience and dedication promise a dynamic approach to the development of football across Kerala.
Stepping into the shoes of the Joint Secretary are Mr Shaji P K and Mr K A Vijayakumar. Their appointment underscores their expertise and vision for streamlining KFA's operations.
Dr Reginold Varghese will take charge as Treasurer, ensuring financial prudence and accountability within the association.
Mr Achu S and Mr Anil Kumar P, along with Mr P F Davis, have been elected as representatives to the Kerala State Sports Council and the Kerala Olympic Association, respectively.
The Executive Committee, responsible for shaping and executing KFA's strategies, boasts a diverse lineup of members. Mr Remegi Oscar, Mr Shameem Backer CK, Mr P G George, Mr Vinoj K George, Prof P Ashraf, T P Abdulsalam, P C Johnson, Raveendran G, Joy Paulose, Priyesh Kumar P, Jose Jacob, K Gangadharan, and A K Shereif will lend their expertise to further elevate football in Kerala.
It is worth noting that Mr John Bosko A, who was initially a candidate for the Executive Committee, withdrew his nomination, leaving no other contenders in the race.
The newly elected leadership team, along with the Executive Committee members, collectively bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the Kerala Football Association.
