Asian Games 2026: India’s schedule for Day 4 on September 22

India will compete across 16 disciplines on Day 4 of the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, on Tuesday, September 22.

Several medal events are also scheduled, including the women's cricket final, shooting and karate.

India will face Japan in both badminton team quarterfinals, with the women's match at 6 am and the men's match at 11:30 am.

In cricket, India will take on Sri Lanka in the women's final at 10:30 am.

In shooting, Parth Mane and Elavenil Valarivan will compete in the 10m air rifle mixed team qualification at 6:15 am, followed by the final at 8:25 am if they qualify. The second day of the men's and women's skeet qualification and team final will also begin at 6:30 am.

India's men's hockey team will face Sri Lanka in a Pool B match at 3:30 pm, while the men's kabaddi team will play South Korea in Group A at 7:15 am.

The men's Sepaktakraw team will meet Malaysia at 5:30 am.

In karate, Chetan Bhatt will compete in the men's Kumite -84kg semifinal at 7:35 am, with the bronze medal bout and final scheduled later, subject to qualification. Alisha will begin her women's Kumite -55kg campaign against Indonesia's Cok Istri Agung Sanistyarani at 8:52 am.

In boxing, Sakshi Chaudhary will face the Philippines' Aira Villegas in the women's 51kg Round of 32 from 8:30 am, while Jadumani Singh Mandengbam will take on Nepal's Chandra Bahadur Thapa in the men's 55kg Round of 32 from 1:30 pm.

India's women's table tennis team will face Thailand in the Round of 16 at 6:30 am, while the men's team will meet South Korea at 9 am.

Other Indian athletes in action include swimmer Aryan Nehra in the men's 1500m freestyle, gymnast Pranati Nayak, equestrian athletes Fouaad Mirza, Arjan Singh Nagra and Ashish Limaye, and wushu competitors Langlentombi Devi Hanjabam, Roshibina Devi and Aryan.
