NASA Instagrams awe-inspiring photo of Saturn

Washington: The US space agency NASA uploaded a mesmerising picture of Saturn featuring the planet's golden north hemisphere and its prime rings in natural colour. The picture was taken in 2013 by the agency's Cassini space probe, which is floating over Saturn, NDTV reports.
NASA captioned the post, "Our Cassini spacecraft floats above Saturn, glimpsing the gas giant's golden north hemisphere and its main rings in this natural color view, captured in 2013."
"The color palate of Saturn's hemispheres change as the planet shifts from season to season, tinting blue during fall and winter and gold during spring and summer," it wrote.
The NASA picture shows Saturn half-lit in gold, blue and tan colours. According to NASA, there is a hexagonal storm appearing faintly in tan at the top of the planet's pole. This appears as tenuous lines of white and tan, NASA explains.
The picture NASA shared around a day ago has gathered nearly 6.5 million likes on Instagram. Users are also filling out the comments section too.
A user commented that they love how the poles are shaped like hexagons and wondered how that happened.
The hexagonal storm near Saturn's north pole never disappoints, another commented, appreciating the picture that it was great and added that they are expecting more pictures of the planet.
Another user felt that it looked like a golden ball, while the fourth person felt that Space was perfect, curious and beautiful.
Cassani space probe left the galaxy on September 15, 2017. It was a joint effort of NASA, the European Space Agency and the Italian Space Agency and was launched in 1997. It had captured unprecedented looks of the ringed planet and its many moons during its mission lifespan, NDTV reports.
