New Delhi:  As the Ayodhya case is getting more heated, the Supreme Court sought the Hindu parties’ lawyers to present objective evidence to prove that a temple of Lord Rama stood in the Ramjanmabhumi.

The court told lawyers that they need not work hard to prove that people believed in Ramjanmabhumi. Instead they should present evidence on their claim that a temple stood on the spot.

Concluding his arguments senior advocate C.S. Vaidyanathan for Ram lalla on August 21 said that the Ramjanmabhumi was itself a deity and could not be partitioned.

“If the property itself is the deity, nobody can claim ownership of the land. Nobody can claim adverse possession” he was quoted saying.
