New Delhi: The National Conference Chief Farooq Abdullah said that the Central government was lying.
Talking to a TV channel, Abdulla said that he had been detained and the home minister was lying.
“For seventy years we have fought the battle with the nation and today we are supposed to be the culprits? It was the guarantee given by the solid Government of India. The Article 370 and35A, guaranteeing the special status of the State, was granted by the Government of India,” He said.
An emotional Dr. Abdullah said “we had been betrayed”, referring to scrapping of Article 370 and Article 35A.
Abdulla said that he would, along with others, fight for democracy and secularism and take the fight to a logical end.
