SC orders floor test in Karnataka tomorrow

"New Delhi: The Supreme Court today ordered that a floor test be held in the Karnataka Assembly at 4 pm tomorrow to ascertain whether newly appointed BJP Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa enjoys majority in the state.
"Let the House decide and the best course would be floor test," a three judge bench headed by Justice A K Sikri said.
Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for the Chief Minister, had sought reasonable time till Monday for the floor test but the bench, also comprising Justices S A Bobde and Ashok Bhushan, ordered it for tomorrow.
Directions of the Supreme Court:
1. Floor Test Must Be Conducted At 4pm Tomorrow
2. Protem Speaker to decide the mode of test
3. No Secret Ballot
4. Govt shall not nominate the Anglo Indian Representative
5. B. S. Yeddyurappa Government shall not take any major policy decisions
6. Karnataka DGP shall ensure the security of MLAs
