New Delhi: Former Assam DGP Shankar Barua who was under scanner in the Saradha scam was found dead at his house in Guwahati on Wednesday.
Police suspect Shankar Barua has commited suicide. According to Times Now, the former DGP shot himself dead with a revolver.
Shankar Barua's house was raided by CBI around two weeks back in connection with the Saradha scam.
The CBI sleuths had conducted searches at 12 locations in Guwahati, including the residence of Shankar Barua.
